Adobe Equipment
Houston, LLC (“Adobe”) is comprised of two full service
forklift dealerships, Caterpillar and Nissan, a JCB, Inc.
heavy equipment dealership and a new and used trailer sales
/ service business. Both forklift dealerships and the JCB
dealership incorporate new and used equipment sales, parts
sales, service and rentals. The forklift dealerships’
operations have a business history in Houston, TX that dates
back over 50 years.
In addition to selling Cat Lift Trucks, the Caterpillar
dealership also sells complementary products from Kalmar,
Mastercraft, Noble, JLG, Capacity, Shuttlewagon, Motrec and
Nilfisk / Advance, while the Nissan dealership sells
primarily Nissan forklifts. They also sells products from
Barrett and Heli. The trailer operation sells and repairs a
variety of trailers, including Wabash, Manac, Transcraft,
CPS and Talbert.
In late 2008, Adobe Equipment opened its new JCB
construction equipment dealership and will sell, rent and
provide repair service for JCB and other brands of
construction equipment for customers in Houston and
Southeast Texas.
In 2008, both the Caterpillar and Nissan forklift
dealerships were ranked as the Number 1 dealerships in the
United States by their respective manufacturers.
Adobe has three main dealership locations in Houston, TX,
along with 3 branch locations throughout Houston and 1 full
service branch operation in Beaumont, Texas. Adobe’s
locations sell new and used equipment and parts, provide
both "in-house" and "on the road" service and maintain a
rental fleet of over 600 units. Adobe's service group has
over 160 highly qualified, factory-trained technicians.
