CAT LIFT TRUCKS ANNOUNCED OFFICIAL LIFT TRUCK PROVIDER FOR 2010 HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO™

HOUSTON (February 24, 2010) – For the sixth year in a row, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ will receive a helping hand from its Official Lift Truck Provider, Cat Lift Trucks. Up to 100 lift trucks will be provided by Cat Lift Trucks and local dealer, Adobe Equipment Inc., to produce the world’s largest rodeo, hosting 1.8 million visitors.

During the three-week long Show, the Cat® lift truck P5000-P7000, DP40K-DP50K, DP70E and P22000-P33000 models will be used for a number of heavy lifting tasks throughout the 260-acre Reliant Park, including moving animal feed and hay, stage equipment, food supplies and more than 700,000 visitor guides. As a testament to Cat Lift Trucks quality service, Adobe Equipment technicians will be on hand throughout duration of the Show to service and support all donated lift trucks.

Not only the Official Lift Truck Provider of the Rodeo, the company will continue its annual community and education-oriented initiatives by hosting Cat Lift Trucks Youth Night with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston. Cat Lift Trucks Youth Night treats 25 “Big” and “Little” pairs to a night at the rodeo, complete with a private Show tour and tickets to the Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez concert.

Additionally, the Cat Lift Trucks Scholarship program, now in its sixth year, awards two $5,000 scholarships to two outstanding Houston-area high school seniors pursuing higher education in a mechanical engineering or business-related field.
